TEN was selected in 2013 as the development and implementation partner for Penn State University, delivering a wide range of energy efficiency projects across University Park and multiple Commonwealth campuses, including Abington, Behrend, New Kensington, and Fayette. Projects focused on modernizing lighting, HVAC, and control systems while accommodating complex scheduling requirements and mission-critical campus operations.

Services Performed
Lighting Upgrades
- Upgraded LED lighting systems at Beaver Stadium, including wireless controls for entry gates, concession areas, loading docks, concourses, ADA-accessible ramps, pedestrian ramps, and stairways
- Installed new parking lot lighting systems at three campuses
HVAC & Mechanical System Improvements
- Implemented HVAC upgrades at key University Park buildings
- Delivered total HVAC renovations, including boiler replacement, at the Abington campus
Building Automation & Controls
- Implemented lighting, laboratory controls, and HVAC controls at University Park facilities
Campus Operations & Scheduling Coordination
- Coordinated expedited material delivery and contractor scheduling to meet critical game-day timelines at Beaver Stadium
