The Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) selected TEN for an energy savings performance contract at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex. A national historic landmark was built in 1893; the complex includes 11 buildings totaling 1 million square feet served by an underground central utility plant.
This unique site required careful scheduling, staging, security, and underground installation of major equipment. The project reduced energy costs by 14% and addressed aging infrastructure and occupant comfort issues.
